Braking Video: The flashy Kwame Nkrumah Interchange is already falling apart
...or subjected to the work of some vandals.
A video shared on social media by one concerned citizen showed a large hole in the wall surrounding the central park at the interchange where the fountains and lightworks were housed.
In all fairness, the hole does look suspicious; like the work of cunning characters who would want to tarnish the image of, arguably, the flashiest edifice in Ghana.
Water gushed out of the wall as seemingly unconcerned passers-by strolled by looking oblivious to the defect.
John Dramani Mahama, the incumbent president of the country, had touted the interchange as one of his major infrastuctural advancements during his first term of office. His supporters and diehards of the National Patriotic Party have termed the building, "Dubai in Accra".
But it seems Ghana's Dubai is yet to stand the test of time!
