Shortage of Kalyppo Hits Accra and Kumasi–But Kofi Adams Says That Doesn’t Mean Nana Addo Will Win the Elections As Kalyppo Has No Vote
The makers of Kalyppo are cashing in on the recent social media buzz being championed by supporters of the NPP after an attempt to make a mockery of Nana Akufo Addo sipping Kalyppo by the NDC went bad.
What was meant to cause laughter has been turned into a social media campaign tool in solidarity with the NPP’s flagbearer.
Now, the makers of Kalyppo hasve said on Hello Fm in Kumasi that they’ve hired 28 new people to meet the increase in the market demand of Kalyppo but that has not even worked.
The company says several of their selling outlets in Accra and Kumasi, especially the various filling stations have reported of shortage–and are on their neck for supplies.
For the company, this is a clear illustration of the support and love Ghanaians have for Nana Akufo Addo.
But NDC’s National Campaign Organiser-Kofi Adams thinks it’s all for nothing.
He is reported to have said; “winning a Kalyppo trending contest on social media does not mean you will win the elections. Kalyppo has no vote.”
