Shatta Wale’s ‘Chop Kiss’ wins Best African Song Award at IRAWMA 2016
This year like any other has really been favourable to the all time Dancehall King Shatta Wale. The good news is that his popular track ‘Chop Kiss’ has won the ‘Best African Song Award at the just ended IRAWMA.
With stiff competitions from the likes of Nigerian Singers – Flavor and Wizkid and Congolese musicians – Koffi Olomide and Maitre Gims, the SM boss emerges as the winner of the award.
This year’s edition which marked the 35th time of the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) was held at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts in Fort Lauderdale / Coral Springs, Florida on October 2, 2016.
The Enthusiastic Shatta Wale recognizing the immerse contributions from his fans and followers in winning this award took to his Facebook to share the good news.
