Ghanaians Have Insatiable Need for Lies and Empty Promises–Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur Tells His White Economist Friend
Ghanaians love empty promises and lies–and their desire for these is so much that it cannot even be satisfied, Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has told an economist friend during a late lunch discussion on the prospects of the NDC in the upcoming election this year.
Per transcript of the conversation obtained by the web group-Vigilantes, a group that claims to be against secret surveillance and private conversations, Paa Kwesi Amissah is said to have told his white economist friend that, the NDC is surely winning this year’s election and they are certain because they are serving the people with exactly what they need.
When asked about this need, he replied: “Ghanaians have insatiable need for lies and empty promises and the NDC has mastered the art of serving them with their needs for many years.”
He continued: “propaganda is what wins elections down here in Africa, not the truth, policies or the desire to serve one’s country better.”
Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur’s friend who was shocked asked; “what if the electorates have changed–like they’ve become wiser?”
Then Amissah-Arthur laughed his head off, indicating that, that’s never going to happen.
