[WATCH VIDEO] I WILL DEAL (KILL) PROF MARTEY - KOKU ANYIDOHO FUMES
According to Koku Anyidoho, the outgoing moderator has opened the floodgates for "political insults".
“Rev Martey’s conduct has now gone overboard. He has now opened the flood gates for political insults because I now know that he is a political man from the NPP".
“I will deal with him like the way I’ve been dealing with Bawumia and that will make life easier” he stated.
That is the verdict of Mr. Anyidoho after Rev Martey said a political party he refused to name tried to gag him with $100,000.
In his last address to the media, Rev Martey said: “The same party brought $100,000 (to bribe me). They were lucky I did not have dogs.
“You cannot get me with corruption,” he told journalists, adding: “Never ever should any politician or political activist go to a pastor or minister with money in order to influence him; if you do that you’ll be in trouble.”
He added that some of these politicians also come with “the promises that if you keep quiet we will give you a house at Trasacco with swimming pool.”
However, Koku Anyidoho in an interview indicated that, Prof. Martey cannot continue to serve a dignified office after such a comment which in his opinion has polarize the society and deepen the problems in Ghana’s politics.
Describing him [Rev. Martey] as an active member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), the Deputy NDC scribe challenged the man of God to provide evidence and name those politicians who tried to bribe him if he wants to be taken serious.
“Prof Martey is now sounding like some active NPP member under a tree. He should provide evidence and name those behind his bribe. In fact, politics have now become very easier with Prof Martey. He just exposed himself,” he asserted
